SAMALI SOUKOUS

Samali Soukous  Djepola's new EP released on September 18 under the Productions Miss Meuré label, is a 6-track album whose themes revolve around difficulty_cc781905-5cde-3194 -bb3b-136bad5cf58d_des Africans contemporains à contemporaries while appropriating their ancestral values faithful to the western colonial traditions.

The songs are about family life, relationship with the divine, rites of passage and festivities, translated into music that advocates love, generosity, sharing and forgiveness._cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b -136bad5cf58d_ The great challenge of our time is the cultural mixture, the interbreeding of civilizations and in this now universal challenge, Africa does not escape the deal, on the contrary the African is the being most exposed to this interbreeding , so much does it affect his beliefs and this relationship to the spiritual which is the DNA of his culture.

This is why with Samali Soukous, Djepola is contributing to this challenge by offering Africans a return to their roots in order to embrace modernity without however forgetting their ancestral cultures and beliefs which are also part of their identify. Moreover in African societies, life is songs and dances. Traditional music accompanies traditional dances at the heart of festivals, ceremonies and public events or daily activities. Music therefore remains the best way to convey this type of message.
